Her digital molecules I'd seen

it seemed to me that was enough.

How much time had it been

how far behind was all that stuff?

Nice were the memories it brought

though I didn't start to reminisce.

Not like the ones you may have thought

but still refused to all dismiss.

Then things begun to just get funny

one, then another, all in a row.

Was it because it was so sunny

my head received a sudden blow?

I stopped the car at the red light

gazing ahead, my mind clear.

And there she passes dressed in white

it's really her walking so near?

It looked like her only a bit

I realized in the end.

I had to finally admit

hard still the why to comprehend.

Next day again one of the same

how can it be, she's at the till?

But soon-enough clear it became

it wasn't her, I paid my bill.

Whole days passed without mirages

but I was thinking of her more.

There were no images, collages

nothing to think or to deplore.

But at the moment the most weird

it happened once again anew.

She suddenly had reappeared

apparently we weren't through.

In a cafe I sit and read

it's her again in plain sight.

A short question at top speed

she asks to just borrow my light.

This time around there was no doubt

this girl was nothing like she was.

Looks like again I had lucked-out

it was the time for a pause.

Dude, you keep seeing her around

is there a reason for all this?

Was there a meaning more profound

said to myself, about the miss.

There was one way to move ahead

a really pleasant one in fact.

A common action, widespread

a thing concrete and not abstract.

A quick hello I sent to her

a smile contained in a brief note.

And back in touch we quickly were

in a fun way...yet still, remote.

The image of a past romantic encounter comes to a young man's mind initiating a series of profound thoughts which are followed by a cascade of powerful emotions.

This resurfacing of his feelings for a young woman is proven to be intense and he is soon overcome with a desire to search for the photos of her's he had kept, along with messages they had previously exchanged. The further he dives into the past, the more vivid his recollection of her appears to become. He remembers exactly how she was when they met for the first time, where she had revealed her inner self to him, where he had observed the real her, for the very first time.

In the days that follow he begins seeing her everywhere; his mind playing tricks on him. A few days later, he can no longer stand it, he locates her coordinates/contact details and he gets back in touch with her. She responds with joy. Even though she is living far away from him now, he is happy that they've re-found each other and can be in contact, once again.

Both of them know it was inevitable that they'd get back to being in touch.
